“OH, YOUTH..! NEVER SAY, WE ARE CHRISTIAN YOUTH LIVING IN 21ST CENTURY.; UNLESS WE
ARE NOT UNITED JUST WITHIN THE STATE”
A person who does not love his Identity (i.e culture, traditional, norms, belief, faith andlanguage) is a person who is like a chameleon changes his/her colours that is to says/he doesn’t have true colour.Love your culture, protect it, used it, take pride in it, be proud of who you are, never regret for what you are because it’s a wonderful gift from God. Well, if we ignore our identity and culture and join others identity and culture, we will still be people who are artificial Identity makers because our bloodline and lineage is still who we are and what we are. So, let us love our culture, be proud of who we are and what we are; my fellow youth and brothers and sisters in Christ, what’s the harm of taking steps for spreading peace in our land, and let us be the peace makers as Christian Youth who will be the future leaders (impossible is nothing). We proudly claimed ourselves as the Ambassadors/Gentlemen for Christ, and I do claimed myself as such.
For Instance, with the impact and influence of Facebook, we’ve been viewing the status updated by our facebook friends, we may hit a comment with negative words, like/unlike, tags, shared to your own secret groups to waste time and make our innocent online friends to get heartburns with the said shared and posted items. Does it bring changes and developments within our society?, or is there any improvement to bringpeace and unity towards our broken societies? No, Never!!! Instead, it impacts the mindset of the youth thus, instead of bonding our societies it has actually widened thegap between the youth of our societies, for achieving real peace and harmony.
We need action with love, action through our convincing songs/lyrics, action through our words which were taught and preached to us in our churches, good words with good intentions and actions for bringing peace and harmony to our fellow beings. Here is a chance, a good chance for us, as youth to overcome the foolsteps and the footsteps of our leaders and politicians when it comes to social discriminations and divisions.
Yes! our leaders had played many important roles for our societies and further we as new generation are going to walk through the good and evil deeds of our good politicians and learn from our mistakes, by doing these, we will able to achieve better societies than today’s, because I fully trust in the youth for whom everything is possible, and it is my dream that all the tribal youth of our societies will oneday join hands together for the glory of our God whom we worship in all our churches and overcome the unproductive dealings. This we all firmly believe now that it’s impossible to solve by our human intelligence.
For the Youth impossible is nothing! Everything is possible! Very possible! Let us dream and visualize what could be our future, what will be our final destination if we keep going as we do at present. Educations, technologies, infrastructures are well developed within our societies and the country, what about the promotion of peace and harmony for our broken society which can be contributed by our leaders today? It seems the words peace, harmony, justice is out of our dictionary (But it is on our hands, we always hold it).
I urge the social leaders, pastors/church elders, experts and experienced persons to encourage the youth in each and every communities and societies, from now if the situation still goes on and if today’s youth are convince with the silly conflicts between one tribe against another tribe, it will one day lead to great conflicts and problems which may not have the right solution ever again! My dear fellow youth, brothers and sisters in our Lord Christ, are we suppose to keep mum awhile after seeing what’s going on? Let us take initiative for the better tomorrow. A famous saying goes like this, “Every roses has its thron” likewise “every problems has a reasons, every reasons have a solution”, We “the Youth of Christ” be the solution for all reasons. Let us think it over again and again!! Today’s Youth will be tomorrow’s great leaders, and today’s kids of our society will be the youth of our society tomorrow, Yes! We can do it, join our hands and walk together, let us have respect for all fellow tribes (small and huge in numbers), and speak the words of peace and unity. So, that our future generation can say “I am proud to be a Tribal gentlemen” and absolutely we will be “the Ambassador for Christ”.
